God of the Bible always promotes having a relationship with God the creator of the Universe, and carry out our living on earth with His divine leading. And God is always Good! He want us all to be happy and well. His only condition and a law of creation is that we must depend on him always.
Separation from God is fatal
Anyone or any thing that decides to break away from God the creator will surely end up in a devastating doom sooner or later. God does not hate people going their own way but it is the way in which everything was created that makes us dependent on him.

Everything in creation we read in Genesis chapter 1, has to be connected with the source (or the medium) from which it was created in order to sustain itself (or exist). The fish must remain in the water to survive because it was created from water (source: water). Animals and birds must stay connected to the soil from which they were created (though eating the produce from soil).
Man was created from God Himself
And since Man was created from God Himself (in His Image and Likeness), Man must be connected to God in order to live and exist and thrive. The medium of creation for man is the Soil and God! So both are necessary for him to exist. Only through this connection that man can bring out his potential.

Law of Attraction discourages fellowship with God
Instead, they promote ‘becoming one with the universe!’ When you have the creator of the universe wanting to have a fellowship with you, why on earth do you want to ‘be one with the universe?’
